Julie here! I think there should be a question prior to the current question 4 asking who designs the curriculum for the course (syllabus, individual assignments, etc.) and if the department/whomever has requirments for specific numbers or types of assignments. It's altogether possible that a TA is making his/her own life more difficult than it needs to be by writing their own really complex assignments, which is a problem, but it's a bigger problem if someone is telling them that they **need** to do something and it's causing them to exceed 20hrs. a week.

If I recall right we are using teh surveys as is, but we might want to include something like "How well explained was your funding?" "How many semseters of funding were you promised?" "How long is the average to complete your program?-Jamie McC.

Would Like to potentially send an additional survey out addressing GTA training, and specifically addressing International TA training/concerns. Conflicting schedules (i.e. not able to attend all sessions paid for)
